New Covisian program boosts Startups from CX sector


Covisian, a high-tech multinational focused on technology services and products for Customer eXperience (CX), has launched its Smile.CX Accelerating Innovation Latam program. The goal is to identify and support the most innovative startups in customer management and experience, connecting them with large enterprises and enhancing their technologies and processes.

In the current dynamic and growing landscape, Latin America has proven to be fertile ground for the emergence and development of innovative startups. According to the 2023 Latam Startups Report, venture capital investments reached USD 25 billion, a 22% increase compared to the previous year, and more than 40 new unicorns, startups valued at over USD 1 billion, were created.

Given this scenario, Virginia Mateos, Group Head of Marketing and Communication and leader of the acceleration project, stated that the company is committed to supporting the most promising startups in the region. This includes facilitating their access to resources, networking, and business opportunities that will enable them to scale and transform the customer management industry in Latin America. “Smile.CX Accelerating Innovation Latam aims to find revolutionary solutions that can significantly improve the quality and efficiency of service in major Latin American companies,” she added.

The purpose of this initiative is to find innovative solutions for large companies in the region by identifying the leading international startups in the CX sector. The program focuses on pre-selecting those that develop relevant technologies and solutions in the field of Customer Management and CRM.

Selected startups will enjoy one-to-one meetings with senior executives from the region’s top companies, business and strategic opportunities, and validation of their innovative solutions. They will also have access to networking and benchmarking with other leading innovation firms, as well as to the venture capital community.

The pre-selection of candidates will involve technology investors, accelerators, incubators, and Covisian’s client network, creating a list of applicants operating in Latin America or with plans to expand in the region. These can be startups active in technologies or processes with potential impact on the customer management industry, and selection will be based on the company’s profile, interviews, demos, and simulations.

Meanwhile, the Smile.CX Accelerating Innovation jury will consist of professionals from leading brands in sectors such as banking, insurance, utilities, e-commerce, telecom, and retail, with a highly innovative DNA. Through their evaluations, these experts are collaborating in the digital transformation of the Customer Management sector.
